Making this resort is perfect for those visitors who like to avoid a lengthy transfer, the transfer takes just 10 minutes from Male airport by sea boat. Tranquility and those that are seeking some activity during their vacation; the all-inclusive island resort of Club Faru caters for both those seeking some peace and  .

Discos , karaoke, two live bands a week,   cabaret sessions, there are  the resort has an animator on hand to organise daytime activities and for those who desire some night life. Solitude will not be disappointed, club Faru is generally a peaceful place and those seeking relaxation and  despite its name. Diving trips etc are all organised from the main arrival platform at this resort making it the center of activity during the day; daily excursions to other islands,  . Guests at this resort get a free tour of Male as part of their stay.

Activities

Sail and powered sports which are either free or quite reasonably priced, and water sports such as kayaking, volleyball,   badminton, the large beach at the southern part of the island provides many daytime activities including  for those who do like to get involved in some activities during their trip.

  As the reef is inaccessible and there is not a huge amount of coral; the lagoon is not quite as ideal for snorkeling here as some of the other resorts we have visited,  . Diving here is quite well established but may not offer as much to see as some of the other resorts.

The Accommodation

This is a small point however, the bathrooms are functional but a bit on the smaller side compared to some of the similarly priced rooms we have experienced on other islands. Being cosy and clean, we really liked the rooms we stayed in. A refreshing change from the rectangular shape we are generally used to, the rooms are pleasant with rounded walls and circular windows. As this resort is one of the more affordable ones in the Maldives, this is reflected in the price however. This resort is one of the more densely utilized with over 150 rooms organized in two-story blocks over the island.

The man-made extension of Male, also face the view of Hulhumale, towards the south-east end, some of these rooms. The other half of the rooms are situated on the eastern side which again has a narrow beach. The other blocks on the west side have a narrower beach area. Have adequate shade and face west towards the sunset, which face a good area of beach, the best rooms in our opinion are those in the first 5 blocks on the west side of the resort.

  Especially if you are lucky enough to be allocated one of the better located rooms on the west side of the island, if you are looking for an all-inclusive resort that offers some activities as well as the option to get some peace and tranquility then this resort may suit you. The short transfer being one obvious advantage for those who dislike long journeys; advantages, disadvantages and  the close proximity to Male has both .
